TERRATEC opens a Regional Office in Panama

TERRATEC takes another strategic move by having opened on Apr 26th, 2009 a new subsidiary in Panama, TERRATEC America Inc. The office is set up to provide a direct interface with current customers in the whole Continent and to monitor more closely on potential business opportunities in the emerging countries of Latin-America.
 
As the second largest free trade zone in the world and one of Latin-America’s leading business centers, Panama has been playing a proactive role in global economy, attracting many investors and being the preferred location by many Large Corporations where to set up their Latino-America’s Headquarters.

 “With this new branch opening, TERRATEC will be able to provide a quicker and more efficient response to  our Customers in all American regions, making the time difference or  distances not to be an issue anymore”, said Luis Fernandez, Business Development Manager of TERRATEC America.

The Office will have its own Commercial, Spare Parts and Field Service Departments, and it will have a warehouse in the Free Trade Zone with permanent stock of common spare and wear parts for its TBMs and RBMs.
In addition to the significant presence in Asia Pacific, the new Panama office is part of TERRATEC’s overall plan as a global leader in tunneling and mining industry.
